At her synagogue (Temple Beth Torah in Ventura) on March 11, 2016, Jessica Craven (left) celebrates her having become a Jew earlier that week. She is joined by her rabbi Lisa Hochberg-Miller (who served on our panel as a dayan) and by Ms. Craven’s future father-in-law, Rabbi Jerrold Goldstein, who serves us both as a governor and as a trustee.
