Rabbi Membership Registration

If you want to become a dayan/member of the Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din, you must first attend an orientation and training session. These are usually held twice a year by Zoom. Contact our Executive Director at exec@scbetdin.us to sign up. Once you have successfully completed the training and submitted the required paperwork including proof membership in the  a professional rabbinical association (we encourage membership in your Board of Rabbis), you register as a member. At that point, you will be able to bring your own candidates as a Sponsoring Rabbi, you will receive our quarterly newsletters via email, and you will be invited to attend annual continuing education events (y’mei iyyun).
